Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 10:30 PM - KSFY-TV
Join Steve Kaiser & Kim Lien for a full half hour of news for and about the Aberdeen area.
On this month's Aberdeen Progress Report:
On our In-Depth segment we look at Brown County Roads… four years of high moisture totals leading up to this year caused a great deal of damage to both black top and gravel roads making a good deal of them impassable and others with permanent load limits…we'll look at where we sit and what county officials say about it. On the Review of the News: Aberdeen fills a major Mall storefront but loses some jobs as mail processing is moved elsewhere…we'll have details. Kim will introduce Dennis Gavin, the new pro who is helping everyone become better golfers at Lee Park Golf Course on our People You Should Know. On our Interview of the Month, we talk with the Todd Forkel, President and C-E-O at Avera St. Luke's Hospital about the impact of the opening of the Sanford Medical Center Hospital. On our Chamber Section, we visit with Dave Giovannini of Molded Fiber Glass who's worried about the potential loss of a major federal program that helps wind manufacturing.
