Teen arrested for assaulting father with cooking pot

One 15-year-old Sioux Falls boy might think twice about asking his dad for the car keys.

The boy was arrested for aggravated assault after hitting his dad with a kitchen pot. Police say the two were arguing over using the car and the boy grabbed a large cooking pot.

Police say he struck the father several times causing a head laceration. There's no word on the father's condition.
