PLATTE, S.D. (AP) - Authorities say carbon monoxide poisoning might have caused the deaths of two people in a cabin boat on the Missouri River in southeast South Dakota.
The Charles Mix County Sheriff's Department says the 61-year-old man and 63-year-old woman and two dogs were found dead Tuesday morning in a boat that was docked at a marina by the Snake Creek Recreational Area. The victims were not immediately identified.
Local and state authorities are investigating the deaths.
