PIERRE, S.D. (AP) - South Dakota's Office of Highway Safety is encouraging motorcycle owners to join the national Ride to Work Day on Monday.
Laura Snow, motorcycle safety coordinator for the Office of Highway Safety, says more than 46,000 motorcycles are registered in South Dakota.
She says she is encouraging motorcyclists to take part in the day. She says motorcycles are a fuel-efficient way to travel that saves energy and helps the environment. She adds that it can also be fun.
