Man arrested for drugs, reckless driving with 2-year-old in car

A man is in jail for drugs and driving while intoxicated with his 2-year-old daughter in the car while in Sioux Falls.

Police caught up Joseph Rude, 26, of Redfield after multiple calls of a reckless driver. Rude was reportedly driving east in the westbound lane on 26th Street near Minnesota Avenue. He was pulled over at 12^th Street and Kiwanis Avenue after running a red light. Police found oxycontin and two satchels of synthetic marijuana.

Rude was arrested for his second DWI offense, multiple drug charges and child endangerment. The child was unharmed.
