Attorney General Marty Jackley says a 24-year-old juvenile detention staffer has been arrested on one count of sexual exploitation of a minor and one count of contributing to abuse, neglect or delinquency of a child.
Jackley says the state Division of Criminal Investigation was asked to conduct the investigation because the allegations involved a staff member of the Minnehaha Juvenile Detention Center.
Jackley says Lorenzo Frank Brown Jr. of Sioux Falls was arrested on Friday. The exploitation charge carries a maximum punishment of two years in prison. Brown is also a wide receiver for the Sioux Falls Storm. This is Brown's third season.
Attorney information for Brown was not immediately available.
Storm owner Todd Tryon didn't want to comment Saturday. His staff says he may comment after the game. The game started at 7 p.m. Saturday. KSFY was at that game and we were told Tryon didn't want to comment.
We will bring you more details once we get them.
