UPDATE: Woman airlifted near Hartford Speedway - KSFY News - Sioux Falls, SD News, Weather, Sports

One woman is injured and airlifted to a Sioux Falls hospital, Saturday night.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol tells KSFY she and another car were driving eastbound on Highway 38 near the Hartford Speedway. The Highway Patrol says the car signaled to take a left into the Speedway and the woman on her motorcycle did not see the car slow down.

The woman was ejected from her motorcycle and not alert at the scene. The Highway Patrol says she suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Nobody else was injured.

Traffic was slowed while crews cleaned up but Highway 38 remains open in both directions.
