Holy Great Danes! Dozens of dogs meet in Sioux Falls

A hot day for it but these dogs wanted to play. Great Danes and their owners came from all over the area to meet each other. About a dozen Great Danes met at Spencer Dog Park in Sioux Falls Sunday, in the big dog play area of course.

The event is a chance for Great Dane owners to meet other Great Dane owners and network.

Events like this happen every month for the dogs and their owners. A new club has just been formed.

Here are some upcoming events:

"Danes at Sertoma Park" on Tuesday, August 21 at 7 p.m.

"A Dane in the Park" Play Day, Sundays: July 15, August 5, September 9 and October 7 at Spencer Dog Park in Sioux Falls from 6 p.m.- 7:30 p.m.

"Falling for Danes at Falls Park" is July 24th at 7 p.m. At Falls Park in Sioux Falls.
