Rapid City woman pleaded guilty to embezzlement

RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - A Rapid City woman faces up to 30 years in prison after she pleaded guilty to bank embezzlement.

Jessica Frease, 19, was accused of stealing checks from mailboxes last December and January and cashing them at a local bank where she worked.

U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson says sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 29.
