Bond set for three people accused in Huron burglaries
HURON, S.D. (AP) - Authorities have arrested three people in a string of business burglaries in Huron, Woonsocket and Alpena.
Two men from Wessington Springs face burglary and attempted burglary counts, and a Huron woman faces drug charges. Police say more charges might be filed in the case.
Bond has been set at $10,000 for Joseph Gregg, 35, and a total of $15,000 in two counties for Craig Stolz, 32. Emily Montoya, 27, has been released on a personal recognizance bond.
Huron police received five separate reports Friday from local businesses of break-ins or attempted break-ins. Authorities say surveillance video from the businesses allegedly links the suspects to additional burglaries in Alpena and Woonsocket.
Police say some of the stolen property has been recovered.
