Downtown Sioux Falls intersection closed on Wednesday

The downtown Sioux Falls intersection of Dakota Avenue and Eighth Street will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. for construction on Wednesday, June 27.

Sioux Falls construction crews are performing utility work in the intersection. The northbound traffic of Dakota Avenue will be detoured east on Eight Street. Pedestrian access on the boardwalks will remain open.

The City of Sioux Falls is urging motorists to use caution when traveling near the intersection of Dakota Avenue and Eighth Street.
