State lottery celebrating 25th anniversary

PIERRE, S.D. (AP) - The South Dakota Lottery is kicking off a months-long celebration as it nears its 25th anniversary.

The lottery turns 25 on Sept. 30. The organization has announced the unveiling of a new 25th anniversary logo to coincide with the celebration. The logo will appear in all lottery advertising for the rest of the year.

Next month, the lottery will launch two anniversary scratch tickets and an anniversary-themed booth at the South Dakota State Fair in August. An observance at a South Dakota Lottery Commission meeting also will take place.
