Turner County Commission issues burn ban

Turner County Commissioners issued a burn ban in the county due to dry conditions.

The Turner County burn ban is in affect until further notice.

The commission says most open burning is banned. However, the Turner County Commission says burning garbage is allowed if the fire is covered and attended.
