No one was injured when a fire broke out in a Sioux Falls home Thursday evening. It started around 8:00 p.m. at 1009 E. Pam Rd.
A grill caught the home's deck on fire. Battalion Chief Mark Bukovich tells KSFY the flames spread through an open patio door, and eventually made their way into the roof.
When fire crews arrived on scene, everyone was out of the home and no civilians were injured.
27 firefighters helped to put the fire down with six trucks and three support vehicles. Bukovich says fire crews will remain at the home on fire watch, in case any hit spots flare up overnight.
The fire remains under investigation. As of 10:45 p.m., no information is available on the extent of damage to the home. KSFY will have more details as they are released.
