Farm equipment destroyed in rural Ethan shed fire

ETHAN, S.D. (AP) - Authorities believe a fire that destroyed a rural Ethan farm shed and equipment inside was electrical in nature.

Leroy Adams tells The Daily Republic newspaper that he lost a combine, a tractor and a skid-steer loader in the Thursday afternoon blaze. He estimates damage at more than $100,000.

It took firefighters about two hours to extinguish the blaze.
