PIERRE, S.D. (AP) - A man has pleaded guilty to stealing from the Rosebud Sioux tribe in South Dakota.
Thirty-2-year-old Nathan Janis, from the city of Rosebud, was accused of receiving money through the tribal child care services program to which he was not entitled.
U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson says Janis faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine when he is sentenced on Oct. 1.
