Power outage affects 2,000 citizens of Sioux Falls

A power outage affected around 2,000 people Saturday night.

One traffic light was impacted, and businesses signs went dark.

Some restaurants were forced to suspend business during the outage.

Sioux Falls police say a transformer could have blown around 7 PM, but they could not confirm if that was the case.

Power was restored two hours later.
