They came, they saw, they conquered. The Sioux Falls Storm are your champions of United Bowl IV.
Saturday night, they became the first team in Indoor Football League history to finish the season undefeated after their 59-32 win over the Tri-Cities Fever. IFL MVP quarterback Chris Dixon was sensational with a five-touchdown performance, to lead the lightening strike offense. Wide receiver James Terry had four in the contest.
However, the defense also played a huge part in the victory, including defensive lineman, Jeremiah Price. The veteran's two safeties keyed the Storm's big run heading into the second half and earned him the game MVP.
After a Korey Williams touchdown return sealed the contest in the third quarter, it was confetti time. There were hugs, smiles and priceless memories to end a season which had its share of ups and downs. Those adversities tested the team the entire way, but in the end, it simply brought them closer together.
