Sioux Falls police issued more than 150 tickets for traffic violations during a saturation patrol Friday night into Saturday morning.
Lt. Jerome Miller says 16 officers worked the saturation patrol to net eleven drunk drivers. Miller says Sioux Falls police issued 36 speeding tickets, 11 seatbelt violations, 10 suspended or revoked licenses, 48 tickets were issued for not having insurance and 1 ticket was issued for a stop sign violation.
Lt. Jerome Miller says the statistics are on par with most saturation patrols. Miller says another patrol is scheduled but details of that patrol have not been released.
