The state is telling Water-right holders along the Todd-Tripp county line to shutoff their water due to drought conditions.
The South Dakota Department of Environment and Natural Resources issued shutoff orders to all water-rights holders along the Keya Paha River from the Todd-Tripp county line to the South Dakota-Nebraska border.
The shutoff orders are in addition to earlier shutoff orders issued along the Battle Creek near Hermosa.
