Sioux Falls police are searching for a man accused of shooting another man in Sioux Falls Thursday night.
Police are looking for Tyree Anthony Wilson, 37. He is described as 5 feet 10 inches and 225 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and multi-colored short. Sioux Falls police say Wilson is armed with a handgun.
Police were called to 823 West 12th Street for a possible shooting just after 11:00 Thursday night. Officers arriving on scene found a man with several gunshot wounds.
The suspect had taken off before officers arrived. Witnesses said four to five gunshots were fired after a heated argument, with the victim being struck several times.
The victim was transported for medical attention and was later diagnosed with non-life threatening injuries.
Although other people were in the area when the shooting happened, no one else was hurt.
