Posted: Updated:

Sioux Falls police have arrested the suspect in Thursday night's shooting that left one man with several injuries.

Sioux Falls police found Tyree Anthony Wilson, 37, near the corner of 10th Street and Cleveland on Friday afternoon.

The Sioux Falls Police Department SWAT team also executed a search warrant at an address at approximately the same time in the 800-block of west 12th Street.

He was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault. Additional charges may be pending.

Shortly after noon on Friday, Sioux Falls police surrounded a home, in the central part of the city. A KSFY News crew at the scene says police are walking in and out of the home at 823 West 12th Street.

Wilson is suspected of shooting another man after a heated argument at 823 West 12th Street late Thursday night. Officers who arrived to the scene found a man with several gunshot wounds. Witnesses said four to five gunshots were fired and the suspect left before officers arrived.

The victim was transported for medical attention and was later diagnosed with non-life threatening injuries. Although other people were in the area when the shooting happened, no one else was hurt.
