South Dakota Governor Dennis Daugaard is asking for flags to be flown at half-staff next week in respect for victims of the mass theater shooting in Colorado.
Gov. Daugaard is asking for flags to be flown at half-staff on Wednesday July 25 from 8 a.m. until sunset.
"This was a senseless and tragic act," the Governor said. "Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families."
President Obama ordered flags at half-staff on Wednesday at all public buildings and grounds out of respect for those who were killed and injured in the attack.
