Some people were teeing off in this heat, for a cause.
It's called the Paul Tanke Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament which is being held at the Sunrise Ridge Golf Course in Colman.
The heat didn't stop these golfers, 72 showed up and 36 teams were made.
Paul passed away last year and now, a fund in his honor has been set up. Each year 2 graduating students of Colamn-Egan receive a scholarship.
"Well Paul was a very avid sports person and he has grandchildren that are in sports big time. So we went to all sports events and to be able to give back to the kids, it feels good to give back to the community," Joyce Tanke said.
