Sioux Falls Police: Grass fire started by fireworks

Sioux Falls police and fire crews are out on the scene of a grass fire in a Sioux Falls neighborhood.

This is on S. Van Eps. Avenue in Sioux Falls.

Police confirmed to KSFY that someone started the fire by playing with fireworks.

It happened around 7:30 p.m. Sunday. The grass is charred in two yards. The fire is now out.

Neighbors tell KSFY two kids were playing with fireworks. No word if anyone was hurt.
