Young girl in serious condition after being found at bottom of Rock Rapids pool

A young girl is in serious condition after being found at the bottom of the Rock Rapids pool.

Lyon County Sheriff Blythe Bloemendaal says a call came in around 7:30 pm for a possible drowning.

Apparently someone noticed the little girl at the bottom of the pool. Authorities don't know how she ended up there, but they are following up on "possible pre-existing medical conditions."

Bloemendaal says the girl was taken to the hospital and is in serious condition.
