The City of Sioux Falls Public Works continues to monitor the flow of the Big Sioux River as flows decrease.
Flow of the Big Sioux River has dropped from 77 cfs (cubic feet per second) on Wednesday to 70 cfs on Friday.
The City of Sioux Falls is currently in a Stage 1 of the watering schedule, which allows for odd/even watering. The City would move to a Stage 2 watering schedule if the river flow drops below 50 cfs. Stage 2 watering allows for once per week watering.
For complete details on watering restrictions and stages, please see the City of Sioux Falls website, www.siouxfalls.org/water-conservation.
