Around midnight Saturday morning, Sioux Falls police officers were called to an accident at 26th Street and Grange Avenue.

The accident involved a Jeep Wrangler and a motorcycle. Both vehicles were traveling west when the motorcycle slowed for a traffic signal. The jeep struck the motorcycle and dragged it for a block.

The two victims on the motorcycle were taken to a hospital and are being treated for serious, possibly life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the jeep fled the scene, but was later discovered at a nearby residence where the driver was arrested for DWI 2nd, Felony hit and run, Felony vehicular battery, open container, and no insurance.
