Around midnight Saturday morning, Sioux Falls police officers were called to an accident at 26th Street and Grange Avenue.
The accident involved a Jeep Wrangler and a motorcycle. Both vehicles were traveling west when the motorcycle slowed for a traffic signal. The jeep struck the motorcycle and dragged it for a block.
The two victims on the motorcycle were taken to a hospital and are being treated for serious, possibly life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the jeep fled the scene, but was later discovered at a nearby residence where the driver was arrested for DWI 2nd, Felony hit and run, Felony vehicular battery, open container, and no insurance.
No names have been released, and the investigation is ongoing.
