South Dakota football players Kevin Robb and Tyler Starr have been named to the College Sporting News FCS 2012 Preseason All-America third-team, it was announced on Monday.

Robb, a junior kicker from Rapid City, S.D., was a first-team all-conference selection in 2011 after converting on 17-of-20 field goal attempts. He led the Coyotes with 85 points, and also converted 34-of-36 extra-point attempts.  He led the Great West Conference in field goals per game at 1.55, a mark that was in the top 10 in the nation. Robb was a second-team all-conference selection in 2010 as well. He has 150 career points in two seasons as a Coyote.

Starr, a junior defensive end from Little Rock, Iowa, had an outstanding 2011 campaign, earning first-team all-conference honors.
