A man and woman from Sioux Falls are facing charges for pimping and prostitution at a Comfort Inn.
Christopher Uhl, 25, was arrested for pimping and Margaret Ghost, 22, was arrested for prostitution.
The two were caught after an incident at the Comfort Inn along South Carolyn Avenue. Officer Sam Clemens said a hotel clerk saw a car with a male driver and female passenger pull up outside one of the hotel rooms. The clerk said it looked suspicious so he called police and provided a description of the vehicle.
Clemens said officers arrived as the car was leaving. Police talked to the alleged client in the hotel, who officers said was very forthcoming with the details. The person told police he called the woman from an online ad.
The alleged client is not facing any charges.
