Crews battle grass fire south of Brandon

Fire crews from Brandon and Valley springs spent part of the afternoon battling a grass fire that caused a propane tank to explode south of Brandon.

Many homes, other structures, and a horse pasture were in the fire's path, however crews were able to quickly contain the fire.

The fire started burning mid-afternoon Tuesday. Crews were able to put out the fire at about 4 p.m.
