Escaped Yankton inmate back in custody

A state prison inmate from the Yankton Minimum Unit that walked away from his work release job Monday is back in custody.

Inmate Myron Rainbow Sr. was apprehended in Avon, South Dakota Wednesday night by local law enforcement. He was transported to the Yankton County Jail.

Rainbow is currently serving a 5-year sentence for 4th offense drunk driving out of Charles Mix County.
