BROOKINGS, S.D. (AP) - South Dakota State University has secured $18 million in commitments for an indoor multisport practice facility on its Brookings campus.
The school says Sanford Health has agreed to provide $10 million for the Indoor Practice and Human Performance Athletic Facility, and another $8 million has been committed by anonymous donors.
The project is estimated to cost between $24 million and $28 million. Construction is to begin next spring, north of Coughlin-Alumni Stadium and next to the Dykhouse Student-Athlete Center.
