SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson announced this week that 44-year-old Burton Little Dog was sentenced to 15 years and eight months in prison, to be followed by five years of supervised release. Little Dog pleaded guilty to a count of aggravated sexual abuse of a child in April.
Prosecutors say he sexually assaulted a child sometime between December 2004 and April 2006 in Little Eagle.
Little Dog was immediately turned over the U.S. Marshals Service to begin his sentence.
