Brookings held off Post 22 and moved on to the championship game with the 3-1 win.
The Bandits moved on to play Sioux Falls East, who they beat Saturday 8-4. Could they do it again?
In the third inning Busch singled to left scoring Matt Thomas. Brookings led 3-1 at that point and went up 4-1 in the inning.
In the fourth Kansas-recruit Jon Hander ripped a double past the third baseman. That scored two to tie the game at four.
The game was tied at eight in the seventh, but Brookings stuck again. Kelbe Beste smacked a base hit down the left field line. Two runs scored to make the score 11-8.
