Thomas Named KSFY/Taco John's Athlete of the Week - KSFY News - Sioux Falls, SD News, Weather, Sports

   Matt Thomas from the Brookings Bandits legion baseball team was named the MVP of the Class A state tourament which ended Sunday in Aberdeen.

   Thomas played a huge role in the Bandits winning the title.  He pitched a complete game in a win over Rapid City Post 22 in the first game Sunday.  Then threw two-innings of relief in the championship game win over Sioux Falls East.

  Thomas also had three hits in the championship game.
