Osborne Says College Football is Less Corrupt Now - KSFY News - Sioux Falls, SD News, Weather, Sports

  (Brookings)  University of Nebraska Athletic Director and former Husker legendary football coach Tom Osborne was the speaker at the Fellowship of Christian Athletes breakfast in Brookings this morning.

   Osborne says despite all of the scandal in major college football these days, the game is actually cleaner now.

   "When you compare it to what used to go on in cars, clothes, cash, poor academic performance, not much testing for substance abuse.  There's an awful amount of things about intercollegiate athletics today that are much healthier than they were 20 30 40 years ago." says Osborne.
