With school just around the corner many families were taking advantage of a back to school event.
Kids got their finger prints taken, hearing and vision tests, dental tips and safety demonstrations.
Kids also got school supplies too.
The free back to school fair was held at the Multi-Cultural Center in Sioux Falls.
We talked to 1 mom who says this is a great opportunity for her family.
"I came from a family of 5 kids and I don't see how a lot of big families can do that. So this is an opportunity for them to come down and get, you know what you need for all their kids," Michon West said.
Kids also got free socks and underwear if they need it.
It was the 11th year for the event.
