Body of Yankton woman found in Missouri River

YANKTON, S.D. (AP) - Authorities say no foul play is suspected in the death of a woman whose body was pulled from the Missouri River over the weekend.

People out fishing on Sunday spotted the body. The Yankton County Sheriff's Office identified the woman as Elizabeth Smith, 54. A purse and coat belonging to her were found on a bridge.

An autopsy is planned.
