Dakota Alliance Soccer Club has found a new home at the Sanford Fieldhouse for its winter seasons.
DASC and Sanford Fieldhouse reached a 10-year deal allowing the soccer club to use the indoor facility at the Sanford Spots Complex. The agreement allows DASC to use the Fieldhouse from November 1 to April 30, Sanford will also provide year-round sports-medicine services to the DASC.
The Fieldhouse features a turf surface nearly the size of regulation soccer field and is large enough to accommodate indoor games. The DASC is also allowed to host at least two regional tournaments at the Fieldhouse every year.
The Fieldhouse is scheduled to open in September and will be home for the Sanford POWER program and the National Youth Sports Health and Safety Institute. The structure is 85,000 square feet and sits on the west side of the Sanford Sports Complex.
