MCCOOK, Neb. (AP) - A South Dakota woman has been given probation after making a plea deal in a child sex assault case.
Heather Geary, 23, of Rapid City was sentenced to 12 months of probation.
Geary originally was charged with third-degree sexual assault of a child. In exchange for her plea of no contest, prosecutors dropped the felony charge to a misdemeanor of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
An arrest affidavit says Geary groped a 13-year-old boy in October 2010.
