The Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office has arrested a second person in the attempted ATM theft and subsequent chase that started at a Valley Springs store early Friday.
30-year-old Kelly Marie Wessels of Chancellor is in the Minnehaha County Jail, charged with possession of burglary tools, which is a felony.
Wessels will make her first court appearance Monday, August 20.
Earlier Friday, officers arrested Tyson Wessels, also of Chancellor after the failed robbery, pursuit, and ramming his truck into a Minnehaha County deputy's cruiser.
The investigation into Friday morning's incidents continues. Additional charges may yet come for both parties.
