Names released in Dakota Dunes fatal crash

An update on a story we brought you on-air at 5:30 Sunday night.

Names have been released in an accident that killed a Sioux City, Iowa teenager.

The accident happened on Sioux Point Road in the Dakota Dunes.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol says 15-year-old Alexi Vaul was riding in the back of the truck and talking through the rear window with the driver.

The pickup driver, 16-year-old William Murray lost control and the 15-year-old was thrown out of the truck.

The driver and a passenger were not hurt.
