PIERRE, S.D. (AP) - South Dakota Gov. Dennis Daugaard is delaying his trip to the Republican National Convention in Florida because of Tropical Storm Isaac.
Daugaard was scheduled to leave for Tampa on Monday, but spokesman Tony Venhuizen said the governor will leave Tuesday instead. Most major convention activities have been pushed back until at least Tuesday because of the storm that is expected to grow into a hurricane.
Venhuizen and first lady Linda Daugaard will accompany the governor.
