A gas leak in Worthing has forced the evacuation of the Worthing Elementary School.
Worthing Fire Chief says crews were working on water and sewer lines when an excavator hit a gas line around 10 a.m. Friday near 3rd Street and Juniper Street. The Worthing Fire Chief says the school isn't in any danger but evacuated the students as a precaution.
The leak is under control and may be fixed by early this afternoon.
