After being cut by the Green Bay Packers earlier this week, former South Dakota State wide receiver Dale Moss has found a new home with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Brandon, S.D. native told KSFY that he will fly to Tampa Bay, Fla. tomorrow to join the team as a member of their practice squad. He had hoped to stick with the Packers, however, he did not believe waiting to see if a roster spot opened was beneficial to his immediate future.
However, the wideout was not the only former Jackrabbit to find a spot on an NFL roster. Tight End Colin Cochart, who spent last season with the Cincinnati Bengals, announced via twitter that he would be signing with the Dallas Cowboys.
Meanwhile, former USD offensive lineman Tom Compton, a sixth round pick this season, told the media that he would be staying in Washington, as a member of the Redskins practice squad.
We will have more updates for you throughout the week as rosters are finalized heading into the first week of the NFL season.
