Driving around this holiday weekend, you may have experienced a bit of road rage here and there.
Maybe someone cut you off or didn't use a turn signal, well Allstate Insurance says Sioux Falls has the best drivers in the country.
KSFY News spoke to people who say they can't believe Allstate's report.
Allstate gives Sioux Falls top honors when it comes to safe driving, but Rachel Kludt doesn't think the drivers in the city are so great.
"I think we have ok drivers. I don't know if I would say really good. I think there's some people that maybe shouldn't be on the road, but I think for the most part we have ok drivers in Sioux Falls," Kludt said.
Kludt thinks drivers in Sioux Falls are better than some in larger cities.
"I think compared to some of the bigger cities that I've been in when you go on vacation and you're driving around, I feel pretty safe driving around Sioux falls. I've definitely had my close calls and things like that when driving around," Kludt said.
Patty Witt says maybe we're getting to be the big city now.
"I think we're used to it being a little bit smaller, I think and you got a little bit more space out there, I guess. and now, we're getting close to bumper-to-bumper," Witt said.
While Gail Ries says we have too many distracted drivers.
"It's amazing, I don't know if that has to do with our population and who the other studies were, but I think if we don't stop texting, we might lose our top spot," Ries said.
So even though we love to complain we have the worst drivers, Allstate still says we actually have the best.
