UPDATE: Power to Sioux Falls customers has been restored

UPDATE: Just after midnight, Thursday, we have confirmed power is restored to the Sioux Falls residents who lost it, late Wednesday night. If you have any questions, please contact your energy provider directly.

Wednesday night, we heard numerous reports of power outages in the Sioux Falls west and central regions. Some of those reports include a malfunctioning transformer. Metro Communications says at least 10,000 customers were without power, as of 10:40 p.m.
