Aberdeen dealership sells South Dakota's first electric car

Vicki Nash is the first owner of a fully electric car in South Dakota. Vicki Purchased the car last Friday from Harr Motors in Aberdeen.

"It is very exciting, " Nash said. "I feel like a pioneer."

Vicki says she decided the switch to an electric car was perfect for her daily commute from Aberdeen to Groton for work.

The car has a 100 mile radius for each full charge.

Vicki is also excited to be bypassing the gas stations on her commute as she plans to save over $160 a month on old car payments and gasoline.

A full charge to your car only costs $2.25 on your electric bill.
