Former Detroit Lions player arrested near Platte for kidnapping son

The FBI arrested a former Detroit Lions player near Platte for allegedly kidnapping his son.

The FBI arrested Mark Grabowski at River Hills Lodge at 11:45 Friday morning. Information was obtained during the investigation which indicated Grabowski had obtained a job working at the lodge upon leaving Michigan.

Grabowski is accused of kidnapping his 11-year-old son Connor. Connor's mom says she has been worried sick for days since she went to pick up her son from his father's house and discovered both of them were gone.

Grabowski was taken into custody without incident on a Parental Kidnapping warrant out of Livingston County in Michigan. Grabowski is being held in Sioux Falls pending his extradition back to Michigan.
